Frequently Asked Questions - Stationary Engines
What is a stationary engine?
Stationary Petrol or Diesel engines are high performing engines that do not move. Often stationary engines are used in industrial applications where electric motors are not required generally due to a lack of electrical power available.
Petrol or diesel, which is better?
Petrol stationary engines and diesel stationary engines are both high performing engines. Petrol stationary engines and diesel stationary engines each have their pros and cons. One isn’t necessarily better than the other, but it comes down to the job you’re performing as well as your personal preference.
How often do stationary engines need to be serviced?
Depending on the size of your stationary engine and how frequently you use your engine, will determine how often you should get your stationary engine serviced. If you use your Pump Equipment regularly, you might want to consider 2-3 services per year.

Honda’s GP range VS GX range of petrol stationary engines - which is better?
Honda’s new GP range of petrol stationary engines offers a light duty application option. This new range is complementary to the highly regarded Honda GX range of stationary engines. Whilst the GX range is the world standard and suitable to power professional machine, the GP range is best suited for lighter workloads.
